Here’s a few recent websites I’ve designed to give you an idea of the breadth of my work and the standards and level of quality I work to each time.

I design all my websites for small and large screen sizes and continually test them throughout the design process.

If you’d like to get in touch about any of the specifics for the projects below or would like to get a project of your own underway contact us via email:

The Craft Room is a highstreet shop in Wotton-under-Edge. When it was forced to close due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I worked with them to move to online sales and this is now an integral part of their business.

Sarah is a full-time tutor, specialising in preparing primary school students for their maths SATs. Her new website is now a hub for selling and running online courses as well as a place for new students to sign up for 1-to-1 tutoring.

“Jake is wonderful to work with, from the very first email it was clear he was knowledgeable and conscientious. After a very vague outline of what I was looking for, Jake has created a fabulous website with all the functionality I was looking for and more. Would highly recommend Jake’s services to anyone looking for a brilliant website!”

Read With Me are a charity who link volunteers with schools across the UK to give children the extra support they need when learning to read. Their website is a critical hub for connecting with their donors, reaching new volunteers and a core part of their fundraising model.
Behind the scenes, I developed a custom piece of software that
helps them manage volunteer schedules and handle details about their volunteers securely and with ease.

“Jake has quickly, professionally and deftly created a new website for me when my old provider went bust. What has been created is slick, professional looking and completely bespoke to my needs with his input to help shape those ideas. A VERY pleased customer.”

Rob is a music teacher and performer. His existing site was in desperate need of an upgrade and rendered poorly on small screens. His new site now includes videos and audio samples alongside smart contact forms to make it easy to get in touch with him.

Fiona has recently started up as a counsellor and
needed a basic website to start bringing in clients. Her
new website reflects the feel of her business and is set
to grow as her business grows and she brings in more
clients. Instructions and guides specific to her site
now enable her to manage the site’s content herself.

Hillesley and Tresham Parish Council approached me in 2021 as they were unhappy with their existing website and it was a challenge to keep it up-to-date. I planned out an entire new structure and designed a new content-management-system bespoke to their needs with simple instructions to make it painless for them to manage their content. Their new website is complete with photos by local photographers aligned with a professional new style. They now manage their site fully independently but know I’m available to help them out if they want to add new features in.
